MESH NEBULIZER FOR VOCAL HEALTH
Let’s face it, when you are on the stage your voice is the most important part of your performance – no matter if you are acting or singing. So vocal health is so important! One of the ways I help keep my entire vocal tract hydrated, is using a mesh nebulizer with isotonic saline solution (not just water!)
Drinking water takes forever to get to your tissues (and you end up peeing a lot if you drink a lot). But using this system sends moisture right to your vocal folds, and the saline solution instantly hydrates and soothes your voice to help take the edge off vocal stress and dryness. Seriously, every actor should have this set up in their bag of tricks!

I admit it, I’m one of those actors who has a tendency to perspire a lot, and this fan has been a lifesaver. I discovered the joy of a portable fan when I played Edna Turnblad and was “stuck in the Ultra Clutch can for two musical numbers (don’t ask) in full costume, and heavy wig. This little beauty kept me from melting away!
I love this unit because it’s rechargible and runs for like 12 hours on a single charge, it’s variable speed, it’s quiet, and I love how you can fold it and set it on your dressing room station to give you some hands-free breeze when putting on makeup!

Ok, Ok, I can hear you now – “What does this piece of technology have to do with Acting”. Well, you’d be surprised! I have one of these in each of my vehicles and has saved me many times.
